Kitchen Remodeling
The kitchen is where most remodels start, and where most remodels stress-test a contractor. Cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting, plumbing, electrical, and tile all have to land at the same time without conflicting. We sequence selections early so nothing holds up the install, build temporary kitchens where needed (microwave + induction burner + sink station), and finish most kitchen projects in 8–12 weeks.
What’s typically included: custom or semi-custom cabinetry, quartz or stone countertops, appliance install, tile/backsplash, plumbing fixtures, lighting, paint, hardwood or LVP flooring as needed. Most kitchens land between $60,000 and $180,000 depending on size, selections, and structural changes.
Bathroom Remodeling
A primary bath remodel is the second-most-common project we run. Tile, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, vanity, fixtures — done correctly, it’s a 4–8 week project. Done with the wrong contractor, it turns into 6 months because the tile setter, the plumber, and the electrician keep no-showing each other.
What we handle: full demo, waterproofing (the part most contractors cut corners on), tile install, custom or stock vanities, plumbing rough-in and fixture install, lighting, electrical, paint. Walk-in showers, soaking tubs, wet rooms, aging-in-place fixtures, and accessibility upgrades all available. Most primary baths land between $25,000 and $75,000.
Whole Home Remodeling
The biggest remodels — opening up living spaces, reworking floor plans, refinishing top to bottom — typically run 4–6 months and $250–$350 per square foot. We phase the work so you can stay in part of the house when possible, or coordinate the timeline if you need to relocate during construction.
A quick call to understand what you're remodeling, what you're working with, and what your timeline looks like.
We come to your home. Walk the space, take measurements, talk through the scope, look at structural and plumbing realities. You leave the meeting with a realistic budget range and clarity on what's possible.
For larger remodels, we move into a design phase: floor plans, finish selections, cabinetry, tile, fixtures, lighting. We work with our designers, or with yours if you have one. Selections lock before construction starts so the schedule doesn't stall waiting for a tile decision.
Demo, rough-in, finish work — typically 4–8 weeks for a single bath, 8–12 weeks for a kitchen, 4–6 months for a whole-home remodel. You get weekly site walkthroughs, daily updates through Houzz Pro, and one point of contact for the whole project.
We walk every detail with you, complete the punch list, professionally clean the home, and hand off a written 2-year workmanship warranty (5 years for luxury-tier projects).
Riverside has a wide range of housing stock. The 1970s tract homes in Orangecrest and La Sierra often have undersized electrical panels, original copper plumbing, and load-bearing walls in the middle of every “open concept” remodel request. The older homes in Wood Streets and Mission Heights have plaster, knob-and-tube electrical in some cases, and lath that has to be respected. The newer homes near Canyon Crest are usually fine structurally — but the HOAs care a lot about exterior changes.
We’ve worked on all of it. That context means when you describe what you want, we already know what the wall is hiding.
